Ballpark Boathouse: Explore DC From the Water
Craving the outdoors? Paddle the Anacostia River at Ballpark Boathouse! Located outside Nationals Park, Ballpark Boathouse invites you to paddle around the Capitol Riverfront. Park at Dock 79, Nationals Garage C, or The Yards Lot F and head over to paddle past some of Washington DC’s greatest historical sites, like the US Capitol, FortMcNair, Navy Yard, and Ford McNair.
Rent a canoe or kayak starting at $16 per hour to see DC from the water. Children ages 8 and up are welcome, and if you’re a beginner, no worries! Take kayak orientation classes from Ballpark Boathouse’s friendly staff. Consider taking a Twilight Tour for another special experience.
