No Valentine’s Day Plans? Feast on Modern Indian Fare at Rasika!
Are you slacking on the Valentine’s Day front? It’s not too late to make a reservation at Rasika for an elevated Indian feast to celebrate the holiday with a little spice. Lucky for us, we’re about equidistant to both of their locations, one in Penn Quarter the other in the West End area, so you can choose the best meeting point for you and your Valentine! Each location is offering an $85 tasting menu for the holiday weekend with optional wine pairings for an additional $45, which is a pretty great deal!
The Penn Quarter menu features warm yellow plantain chaat, vanilla scallops with green chilies and coconut milk, tulsi paneer tikka with green cardamom, lobster hawa mahal with ginger, bhindi anardana with dried pomegranate, and a few desserts like strawberry tiramisu! If you’re thinking of the West End location you’ll have some of the same features but other options like crispy carrot samosas, honey ginger scallops, asparagus dosas, Chilean sea bass with curry, pork belly vindaloo, and orange cardamom truffles for dessert.
