Be Sure to Dress in Green for the St. Patrick’s Parade of Washington, D.C.

For the past 50 years, Washington D.C. has been celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with the iconic St. Patrick’s Parade of Washington D.C. and it’s a tradition you want to make sure is on your calendar! On Sunday, March 15 the parade will take over 10 blocks of Constitution Avenue running from 7th St NW to 17th St NW to showcase and celebrate Irish culture. The parade marchers range from military and local law enforcement to bands and performers and very impressive floats! Don your favorite green outfit to get into the celebration even more and be ready to take plenty of photos. The parade starts at noon and runs until 3 p.m. typically.

If you’ve been searching for a way to get more involved locally, you can also volunteer to help with planning the parade, just email chair@dcstpatsparade.com to get started helping out with years to come or volunteer for this year!
