This Weekend Near ame at Meridian Hill: Taste of DC!
The Mid-Atlantic region’s biggest culinary & cultural festival is back! October 26th & 27th Taste of DC will bring together some of the area’s best food, drinks and entertainment for you to enjoy. There will be over 50 restaurants offering samples and one of the largest outdoor beer gardens to select flights of wine and craft beers to pair with your favorite bites.
Restaurant row will feature tastes from places like Rocklands Real Barbeque, Charthouse and Sprinkles Cupcakes. And this year, the festival is going cashless to make things easier for attendees. Instead of using cash or credit cards, you’ll be given a wristband or “TasteBand” that you will load “Taste Tokens” onto. You can add Taste Tokens ($1 each) online in advance or at select TasteBand stations found throughout the festival. All the time you’ll save skipping long waits in line can be spent enjoying the live music, games and various entertainment provided. There are 3 different concession packages to choose from. General admission is free.
