History Hidden in Plain Sight

Learn more about America’s capital, Washington DC, by discovering the secrets that are hidden in plain sight! 

There is so much to learn from just the visual makeup of DC. From street alinements, symbols on buildings, and patterns found on various objects and places within the city. That’s right, and if you join an Egypt on the Potomac Field Trip facilitator you can uncover all the secrets hidden in plain sight along the 16th Street Meridian Hill Corridor of Light. 

This walking tour explores a multitude of historical backgrounds and their influences on the Americas. Specifically including African mythology and Egyptian influence on America’s founding fathers. Of course, also diving further into American history, especially the history of our nation’s capital. 

In total, this field trip is less than a one-mile walk from Meridian Hill Park and up to 16th street. 

Taking place on Saturday, June 4th from 10 am until 12:30 pm, then again from 1 pm until 3:30 pm. Tickets cost $35, so get them before they run out. Learn the secrets of the nation’s capital, Washington DC!
